Where To Find Free Sandbags In Fremont The City provides the bags and sand, you provide the shovel and muscle to fill the bags. In fact, rain is a possibility six of the next seven days. The City of Fremont has stocked sandbags and sand at several locations. Bring your own shovel, and it's best to have two people get the sandbags since it's easier to fill them if one person holds the bag while the other person shovels in the sand. The latest news from the City of Fremont's Human Services Department   As the 2023 holiday giving season ends, the City of Fremont would like to take a moment to thank the many supporters who donated needed items or made financial contributions to the Human Services Department to help the community.  Sponsors of the Human Services Giving Hope program fulfilled wish lists for 183 individuals, including those currently living in the Winter Relief Program. The Fremont community showed its support for our unhoused neighbors, making more than $10,000 in financial contributions along with over $17,000 in value of in-kind donations.  Donors also contributed over $11,000 for unsponsored wish lists and to help the Urgent Needs Fund that helps with emergency needs year-round. With the support of the Fremont Community, Human Services will be able to provide direct support to our neighbors when they nee
