Bay Area United Against Hate United Against Hate Week (Nov. 11-18, 2018) is a call for local civic action by people in every Bay Area community to stop the hate and implicit biases that are dangerous threats to the safety and civility of our neighborhoods, towns and cities.  Information about United Against Hate Week activities can be found at their website, unitedagainsthateweek.org During this week, New Haven schools will host activities that will send a strong and consistent message that hatred and bigotry against any groups of people is not okay.  New Haven Superintendent Dr. Arlando Smith emphasized to principals that, "Our message should be one of acceptance, love, care and humanity."  To that end, schools have planned activities that will help to reinforce this message with our young people.
