Dear Sunil Sethi, Now Recruiting for V.I.P.S. Volunteer Program   The Fremont Police Department is currently accepting applications in an effort to recruit approximately 25 new participants for our Volunteers in Police Services (V.I.P.S.) program (formerly CARE and HAPP, now combined).   The Fremont Police V.I.P.S. program helps support the goals and mission of the department by developing and strengthening partnerships and relationships with the community. Similar to a "Citizens on Patrol" program, it began in 2006 with the purpose of being a highly visible support function of the Patrol Division. Our program, which began with 25 dedicated community members, has grown to more than 60 volunteers.  This current recruitment will allow us to get closer to our goal of having 100 volunteers in patrol!    Some of
