Nice to see rates heading down, but I think the Fed is not noticing how heated the housing market is.   From DS News   Mortgage Rates Continue Downward Slide In its Primary Mortgage Market Survey, Freddie Mac clocked the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) at an average 4.21 percent (0.6 point), down from 4.29 percent and the lowest level since late last year. A year ago, the 30-year FRM averaged 3.42 percent. We’re seeing fewer and fewer of these.   From DS News   U.S. Home Flipping Drops to 3.7 Percent of All Sales RealtyTrac released its U.S. Home Flipping Report for Q1 2014, reporting that 3.7 percent of all U.S. single-family home sales were flips.
