Hello Everyone,  I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving break. I personally enjoyed not being tied to Zoom meetings all day long and being able to spend some time with my family.  The coronavirus landscape has changed dramatically since my last communication. The most recent news is that Alameda county may face a " Regional Stay-at- Home Order " within the next few weeks.  The good news is that this order will not affect how our schools are operating. We will remain under the current "Purple Tier" restrictions. The new wave of COVID-19 cases is having a significant impact on our communities and is definitely impacting school reopening plans. In a meeting I attended Wednesday with the Alameda County superintendents and Alameda County Public Health Officer Dr. Nick Moss, I learned that reopening plans across the country are being disrupted by the latest pandemic surge. Some districts have selected dates for reopening and these dates are, at best, moving targets. We ar
