  Message from Assessor Phong La Dear Alameda County Residents, During the month of March, we honor Women's History Month and celebrate International Women's Day. These holidays give us the opportunity to acknowledge and commend the resilience and contributions of women throughout history. May we continue to celebrate women and strive towards a more equitable society. This month, my staff attended Dublin's 40th St. Patrick's Day Festival at Dublin's Civic Center. Thank you to all of the City of Dublin staff for organizing this remarkable event; we're grateful to have the opportunity to connect with our East Alameda County residents! The Las Positas College President's Scholars invited me to their Leadership Panel where we discussed our approach to life, business, and leadership.
