Fremont to Ban second story additions

ATTENTION FREMONT AND HAYWARD REALTORS®: The City of Fremont is considering an ordinance that could ban second-story additions and the City of Hayward is working on a "green building" ordinance that could impact new construction and remodeling. Both of these proposed ordinances will have a direct impact on private property rights and real estate.
Officials from Fremont and Hayward will be making presentations about these ordinances at the Local Government Relations Council meeting on Tuesday, May 27 at 10:00am. The meeting will be held in the Bay East Board Room at 7901 Stoneridge Dr. If you do business in either Fremont or Hayward please attend this meeting to learn more about both ordinances and to let the city officials know what you think.
