More from the B of A foreclosure debacle: Fidelity National Financial has agreed to issue title insurance policies on the bank’s REOs in exchange for B of A’s agreement to indemnify the insurer should the title in question be challenged due to any deficiencies in foreclosure processing practices. Under the agreement Fidelity would defend the new homeowner in court over any title challenge and B of A would pay any costs and any   ordered damages to the previous owner.
