Case-Shiller Indices Post Biggest Annual Gain Since 2006

Home prices posted their strongest year-over-year gain in almost seven years in March, as the 10- and 20-city indices rose 10.3 percent and 10.9 percent, respectively, according to the Case-Shiller Home Price Indices released Tuesday. The national index, reported quarterly, was up 10.2 percent, the sharpest year-over-year gain since 2006.
