Silicon Valley unemployment hits 10-year low

The unemployment rate in the San Jose metropolitan area declined to 3.4 percent in May, the lowest level since 2006, according to the California Employment Development Department. This is down from 4.2 percent in May 2015. Careers in the professional and business services fields led the monthly job increases. (Sillicon Valley Business Journal)
