Crunch Time for Tax Portability Initiative

Crunch Time for Tax Portability Initiative
The deadline to submit signatures to qualify the Tax Portability Initiative for the November ballot is Feb. 28.

According to the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.), more signatures need to be collected in order for the Initiative to qualify and to send a message to the State legislature that Californians want tax portability now.

C.A.R. recently updated the petition form used to collect signatures.  The new version has fewer pages and room for nine signatures.

The updated petitions are available at the Bay East offices in Pleasanton and Alameda.
