2021 UC Admits - Private Schools Get a Higher Acceptance Rate
I added more schools to see how their acceptance rate compared to Fremont's school. I added Milpitas High, Pleasanton schools, Dublin Schools and San Ramon Schools.
Table 1 - represents acceptance into any UC
Table 2 - represents acceptance into Berkeley
Table 3 - represents acceptance into UCLA
Table 4 - represents acceptance into Davis
I sorted by highest acceptance rate. Table 1 tells you the top four were all private schools.
Table 2 - Berkeley: Two private schools in Fremont produced the highest acceptance rate.
Table 3 - UCLA: Two private schools produced the highest acceptance rate, with Amador Valley in 3rd place.
Table 4 - Davis: Two private schools hold 1st and 2nd place.
It's interesting that the acceptance rate is higher from private schools than public schools into the UCs. I don't think it's a bias against public schools. My guess is self selection and advanced courses offered.
