WIC Services- Job Fair- Juneteenth Closures Alameda County Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) The Alameda County Public Health WIC Program supports families with children ages 0–5, as well as pregnant and postpartum women, by providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and healthy food benefits redeemable at participating grocery stores. WIC also offers summer farmers market benefits and is transitioning from paper checks to an electronic card. Details coming soon. Education is available online, in person, or by phone. WIC has five locations: North Oakland, East Oakland, Hayward, Fremont, and Livermore. Community Partnerships WIC partners with several County programs, including the Office of Dental Health (ODH), which provides dental screenings and fluoride varnish for young children.
