A Message from Math Science Nucleus:

Just a reminder that the 150th Anniversary of Great Quake will only be on one day, Oct 21 from 11-4.  There will be an earthquake simulator, virtual reality, kids events, even Earthquake songs.... oh and Fremont Firefighters are proving free hot dogs (while they last).  Start at the Fremont Community Center and get a guide to the new Earthquake Walk.  Children who complete the scavenger hunts of cracks and broken lines will receive a small prize. Scientists from U.S. Geological Survey,  California Geological Survey, and Northern California Geological Society will all be there to help understand the unique features in Fremont.
