Alameda County Assessor's Office: Low Income Estate Planning Workshop - September 14th

ASSESSOR PHONG LA'S MESSAGE

Dear Alameda County residents,

We invite you to our FREE Low-Income Estate Planning Workshop! I am proud to announce that the Assessor's Office has partnered with Supervisor Elisa Marquez and The Housing and Economic Rights Advocates (HERA) to provide this free workshop for Alameda County residents. This event will take place on Thursday, September 14th from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm at the Lady of Our Rosary Church, 703 C St, Union City, CA 94587. Spanish interpretation will be provided for those who sign up on Eventbrite and free food to the first 50 registered attendees to arrive!

This workshop will be led by the Housing and Economic Rights Advocates, a California not‐for‐profit legal services organization that provides free legal services to low and moderate income residents. During this workshop, we will focus on what the term, "estate planning" refers to and how it helps residents protect family homes and other belongings, key documents that are part of an estate plan in California, and how HERA helps residents with estate plans.

Space is limited so register today!
